PC-BSD 9.0-BETA1 dan FreeBSD 9 BETA1 tersedia untuk dicoba

Sebuah kabar gembira muncul dari salah salah satu sistem operasi Unix-Like yaitu FreeBSD, dimana para pengembanganya telah merilis versi beta dari versi terbaru sistem operasi FreeBSD 9 Beta1, untuk bisa di uji coba oleh pengguna umum dan di saat yang hampir bersamaan varian lain dari FreeBSD yang  ditujukan untuk kemudahan pengguna desktop PC-BSD  juga mengumumkan  ketersediaan dari versi beta pertama dari sistem  operasi terbaru mereka seri 9.x

Beberapa hal baru yang dapat ditemukan pada FreeBSD 9 Beta 1:

• ATA/CAM improvements
• PCI hot-plug support
• S4 hibernation support
